Pacifiction Records Rarities from the Pacific and Beyond...From Japanese Punk to Taiwanese post-rock, Asian Twee, Australian Mod, Indie Punk and Experimental Electronica, Pacifiction Records works with a variety of indie labels across the globe to bring you divers, rare and unheard music.
Pacifiction Records is a new online CD store specializing in rare Asian underground music. The store was founded by Marty Shane who spent over a year in Taiwan going to rock shows and fests at every chance.
Upon returning to NY in 2005, he documented what he saw in a website called Island of Sound. While working at the independent punk label Radical Records in NYC, Marty got the idea to go into business for himself selling unheard and rare music from Asia to the rest of the world.
