I had been reading blogs all day and ran across an article on David Nevue's, The Music Biz Academy website mentioning that Derek Sivers had sold CD Baby to Disc Makers. Derek who recognizes himself as a marketing genius and who built his CD Baby site from scratch with sheer determination and ultimate confidence, has succumbed to the call of the sirens and is off to invent anew.  Kudos to Derek for his wonderful work on behalf of music artists everywhere and his decision to sell to Disc Makers, another valuable resource to the music community is probably the best match he could have made.

The CD Baby site already sports a new look and I expect many new features
and added value in the near future.
